BALDWIN, PA — A scholarship has been established in memory of the McKeesport police officer killed in the line of duty in February. The Officer Sean Sluganski Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Baldwin High School senior who intends to pursue a career in law enforcement and crime prevention.

Sluganski was raised in North Baldwin and graduated from Baldwin High School in 2009.

"The scholarship will be awarded annually and ensure that Officer Sluganski’s sacrifice will be remembered forevermore by his alma mater and the community where he grew up," a post on the GoFundMe page established to raise money for the scholarship stated.
