Stuff A Backpack For South Hills Schoolkids In Need

You can help Baldwin-Whitehall Schools and South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM) get local kids the supplies they need for school.

BALDWIN-WHITEHALL, PA — Families might spend more than $270 per child on back-to-school items this year, and there's a way for Baldwin-Whitehall families to help neighbors in need.

The district and South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM) are looking to collect backpacks full of school supplies before the 2022-23 year begins.

Donations will be accepted Monday through Wednesday at each district building's main lobby from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. until August 5. You can drop off donations in a new or gently-used backpack. Gently-worn BWSD gear is accepted, as well as school supplies.
