Three Nearby Residents Arrested for DUI in Baldwin Borough

DUI Arrest on Churchview Avenue

A police officer stopped motorist Robert Richard Archibald Jr., 21, of Algoma Drive in Pleasant Hills Borough, for driving erratically while heading west on Churchview Avenue at around 2:15 a.m. on May 22.

Archibald was stopped near Baldwin's Churchview-Walton Road intersection, where the officer smelled alcohol coming from him, according to a police report.

Archibald failed field-sobriety tests and was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was then taken to the , where he twice failed a breath-analyzer test before eventually being released.

DUI Arrest on Willett Road

A Baldwin police officer stopped motorist Bernard Victorio Masullo, 42, of Willett Road in Brentwood Borough, for driving erratically while heading south on Willett at around 3:35 a.m. on Sunday. 

Masullo was stopped near Brentwood's Willett-East Francis Avenue intersection, where the officer smelled alcohol coming from him, according to a police report. The officer also observed a partially filled, open can of beer on the floor of Masullo's vehicle.

Masullo's driver's license had expired in 1992 and was under suspension, the officer found out.

Masullo failed field-sobriety and breath-analyzer tests at the scene and was arrested for suspicion of DUI. He was then taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center for a blood test. Results of that test are pending.

The officer eventually took Masullo to his residence, where he was released to the custody of a friend.

Another DUI Arrest on Churchview Avenue

A Baldwin police officer stopped motorist Jason John Erfort, 34, of the Brentwood portion of Churchview, for driving erratically while heading east on Churchview at around 12:38 a.m. on Wednesday.

Erfort was stopped near Baldwin's Churchview and Wildwood Avenue intersection, where the officer smelled alcohol coming from him, according to a police report. 

Erfort failed field-sobriety tests and was arrested for suspicion of DUI. He was then taken to the Baldwin police station, where he twice failed a breath-analyzer test before being taken to his residence and released to the custody of his landlord.
