Various Part-Time Baldwin-Whitehall School District Jobs

The district is in need of substitute secretaries, substitute noon-time aides, extra bus attendants, extra bus drivers, substitute food service employees, substitute custodial workers and substitute paraprofessionals-student assistance. (The latter position requires an associate's degree.) Each of these positions work on an "on-call/as-needed" basis. Auditorium Coordinator at Baldwin High School (Whitehall Borough)

The Baldwin-Whitehall School District is accepting applications for an auditorium coordinator. Duties include the coordination of all events related to the high school auditorium, including needed equipment and facilities. In this role, the coordinator will conduct site visits with all users to review needs and expectations. From the visits, the coordinator will develop an estimate of charges. The hired person will coordinate with and schedule the stage/sound crews and custodial and maintenance staff as well as outside companies for equipment repairs. In this role, the coordinator will develop an auditorium budget of estimated needed supplies and equipment and coordinate permits with the permit coordinator. This is a compensated year-round position. The qualified candidate will be a high school graduate or equivalent, and the preferred candidate will possess a four-year college degree. The abilities to follow oral and written instructions, to communicate with others and to work effectively and efficiently without close supervision are needed to be successful in this position. Applications may be secured in person at the district office or by clicking here. Data Entry Associate/Cerner Lab at Jefferson Regional Medical Center (Jefferson Hills Borough)

This part-time position generates and distributes the various batch reports generated by the laboratory information system and monitors the various operations processes associated with the system. Day-to-Day Custodial Substitute (Brentwood Borough School District)

Applicants for this position must be willing to learn the operation of a variety of custodial equipment, including but not limited to: floor scrubbers and polishers, carpet extractors, vacuums, etc. Applicants must also be able to operate snow removal and lawn-mowing equipment, be familiar with the use of common cleaning chemicals and compounds, be physically able to climb and work from ladders on an intermittent basis, be organized and able to establish a sound routine pertinent to his/her work assignment or work area, be able to complete work assignments with a minimum of supervision, be detail-oriented, possess general cleaning skills, be willing to work outside in a variety of weather conditions, be familiar with basic safety procedures pertinent to the position, be able to lift 50 pounds on an intermittent basis, and have up-to-date security clearances.
