Work Along Busy Stretch of Route 51 Coming Wednesday
Expect congestion between Brownsville Road and Glen Elm Drive.
Traffic heading south on Route 51 in and Brentwood boroughs will have to funnel into a single lane between Stilley Road (by the Brownsville Road intersection) and Glen Elm Drive (by ) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, weather permitting.
Crews from Equitable Gas will perform work along that stretch, according to a press release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0.
Motorists are advised to use caution, allow extra time and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area.
