BEAVER FALLS, PA -- The weekend of Friday Sept. 5 thru Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025 was a very much anticipated date for several members of the Class of 1975, from Beaver Falls High School.
Blessed with great weather, sunshine, blue skies and no rain, the weekend got off to a terrific start when several classmates gathered at the hot spot on the city's College Hill section, simply known at the Corner Tavern lounge.

The meet-and-greet was such a hit, that many of the classmates were reluctant to leave, but by 11pm, ones now in their mid-sixties, and pushing 70 – knew when it was time to retreat and be prepared for a Saturday morning breakfast meeting in downtown Beaver Falls on 7th Avenue at the Larry Bruno Foundation museum, next to what the oldtimers will recall as the former GC Murphy’s department store also once known by locals as the 5 & 10 cent store.
Museum curator and fellow 1975 graduate Steve Higgins welcomed his classmates to a first-class welcoming session – and again, the former students had another opportunity to catch-up on the 50-year gap, since the former teenagers had a chance to get the 411 on life’s major journey since all departed the 8th Avenue former High School golden-brick building (now BF Middle School) – commonly known as the Orange and the Black.

Ultimately, the group met in suburban Patterson Heights at the Beaver Valley Golf Club.
Thanks to a superb group of servers, bar tenders and overall good management – the formal event for the Class Reunion continued without a hitch. Primary reunion organizer Rosie Hall, should be commended for her due-diligence in making sure that all attendees, their spouses and other halves, felt welcomed and enjoyed themselves throughout the evening.
In addition to the formal event, golfers and pickle ball enthusiasts were offered special chances to participate in their own athletic pursuits
So, there you have it. The 50th Class Reunion for the class of 1975 at Beaver Falls is finally history. And due to the amount of excitement this event generated – organizers and classmates in general are discussing staging another reunion in a couple years when most in the class will experience turning 70-years-old – quite a milestone, for folks who knew one another as budding 14-year-old freshman, over 50 years ago, back around 1972.
Class Reunion organizers Rosie Hall, Artie Desisto, Rich Botti, Pam Manerino, Antoinette Allison and Kevin Hogue should be credited for a super-fantastic job of organizing a top-of-the-line festive event.
Time will Tell, but for now, hopefully the Class of ’75 can be viewed as a barometer for future Beaver Falls classes and hopefully, they too will keep up the tradition – and organize their own Class Reunions.
Why? Because, as we all like to say: ‘Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger.’
