• Bellefonte Waterfront Developer Hopeful for Spring 2026 Construction Start (statecollege.com) — Bellefonte’s long-discussed waterfront project could finally break ground in spring 2026, bringing a boutique hotel, restaurant, condos, and a large parking garage to the former Bush Hotel site by Talleyrand Park. Developers say financing for the garage is close, with completion of the hotel and garage targeted for 2027 and condo construction to follow.
   

• Bellefonte Elks announce December Student of the Month (lockhaven.com) — A Bellefonte Area High School senior, Natalie Jolley, has been named the Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094 December 2025 Student of the Month for her leadership, academics, and community involvement. She leads in cross country and track, helped start the school’s Chinese Club, and will now compete with other honorees for Student of the Year.
