LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Twenty Lower Bucks County fire companies will receive more than $400,000 of grants to bolster fire coverage and protection.
State Sen. Frank Farry said the grants were awarded to fire and EMS companies in the 6th Senatorial District through the Fire Company and Emergency Medical Service Grant Program.
“Through legislation, I was instrumental in reauthorizing this grant program, as well as expanding it to better meet the needs of our local volunteer and career fire companies,” said Farry. “This state funding is much needed for both our volunteer and paid first responders and the communities they protect.”
