Bensalem Blackjack Player Takes A.C. Casinos for $15M

Don Johnson, a former Parx executive, won big in Atlantic City over the past six months.

Don Johnson, a big time blackjack player from Bensalem, has won about $15 million at Atlantic City casinos, according to a story in the Press of Atlantic City.

The story said he won $4 million from Caesars, $5 million from Borgata and $5.8 million from Tropicana in the past six months. He's also lost some in between.

Johnson, 49, is the chief executive officer of Heritage Development LLC, a Wyoming-based company that uses computer-assisted wagering programs for horseracing, according to the story.

According to the story, Johnson served as the manager of Philadelphia Park in the 1990s, before it became .

Because of his winning ways, Johnson has been banned at the Caesars and Harrah's casinos in Nevada and was turned down by Resorts and Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City, the story stated. It did not mention whether he was allowed to gamble at Parx or other Pennsylvania casinos.
