Bensalem 'Family Fun Festival' Set For October: What To Know

The festival will be held at the Bensalem Township Municipal Complex on Oct. 1. Read below to learn more about the family-fun event.

BENSALEM, PA — Organizers of the annual"Family Fun Festival" in Bensalem Township have announced that the event is set for the first day of October.

On Monday, Bensalem Township Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo and the township's Council announced that the event will be held on Oct. 1, with a rain date of Oct. 2. The event will be held at the Bensalem Township Municipal Complex, located at 2400 Byberry Rd.

Attendees of the free event will be able to enjoy family-fun entertainment, live music, food trucks, an evening concert, fireworks, and much more.

Live musical acts include Steve Purella and His Cool Beans Music, Light's Out Presents Decades - Generations of Music, which will play hits from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, and Back To The Eighties Show with Jessie's Girl.

Other acts of the evening include Magician Michael Bonacci and the Bensalem Township Police department, which will be giving demonstrations with their K9 unit, as well as overseeing a Motor Patrol Show.

Zambelli Fireworks will be overseeing the fireworks display.

The festivities will begin at 3 p.m., with the concert beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the fireworks display beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Limited parking will be available at the Bensalem Municipal Complex; overflow parking will be redirected to Bensalem High School, located at 4319 Hulmeville Rd. Handicap parking will be available at Bensalem Senior Center, located at 1850 Byberry Rd., with a shuttle available to those who need it.
