Bensalem Hosting 'Meet Me At The Park' Events

BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem Township is hosting a series of socially distanced classes and events geared toward families.

Meet Me at the Park is an interactive family event hosted by Bensalem's parks and recreation department and the Bucks County Dance Center. The program is designed to promote family bonding, toddler and child development and healthy living through music, movement, story time, family fitness, dance and crafts.

Families are required to register for the program, which begins Oct. 1. Sessions will be held outdoors at Firefighters Field and adults are asked to maintain six feet of distance from other participants.

Masks are required for anyone over the age of 2. The program will be instructed by Sandy Henriques.

The cost is $10 for families with one child and $15 for families with two or more children.

Families may register online or download a registration form.

• Thursday, Oct. 1. 11 a.m. Story Time, story, music movement and craft
• Friday, Oct. 2. 4 p.m. Fun and Fitness, movement, stretch and dance party
• Wednesday, Oct. 7. 9 a.m. Morning Stretch, movement, yoga and story time
• Sunday, Oct. 11. 2 p.m. Story Time
• Tuesday, Oct. 13. 1 p.m. Fun and Fitness
• Friday, Oct. 16. 4 p.m. Story Time
• Saturday, Oct. 17. 2 p.m. Fun and Fitness
• Wednesday, Oct. 21. 9 a.m. Morning Stretch
• Tuesday, Oct. 27. 1 p.m. Story Time
• Friday, Oct. 30. Fun and Fitness
• Saturday, Oct. 31. 11 a.m. Halloween Story Time. Costume-wearing optional

Payments can be made through venmo@buckscountydancecenter, check or cash. All payments including Venmo payments should be made on the day of the event. Those paying by check should make all checks payable to Sandy Henriques. Cash payments must be for the exact amount.
