BENSALEM, PA — Staff members at Juniper Village in Bensalem got together recently to make sure a coronavirus lockdown didn't take all the joy out of a resident's 99th birthday.

Joseph Freeman hit 99 on Sept. 3. Unfortunately, he was under quarantine for a few days when it rolled around. So, staff at the senior living home got together for a socially distanced celebration.

They brought him balloons and sang happy birthday as Freeman looked on and laughed.
