Building Fire Reported In Bensalem
Several local fire departments arrived to put out the fire on Monday, Nov. 22, which was extinguished later that evening.

BENSALEM, PA — Local firefighters arrived at the scene of a building fire in Bensalem on Monday, Nov. 22. The fire occurred at 2424 State Road.
Units BC222, E222, TW16 and L11 oversaw the safety of those in the vicinity, water to extinguish the flames, and entry into the building. BC222, which oversaw all the operations of the units, said that progress was made very quickly to take out the fire.
The four units received additional help from units E37, E65, E44, R16, and E28, who assisted with fire suppression and ventilation.

At least one storage unit attached to the building caught fire, with firefighters determining it was caused by lithium batteries storage. Members of units arrived in hazmat suits to determine where the batteries were.
Units stayed until around midnight extinguishing hot spots in the building and storage units.

One firefighter suffered a minor injury during the firefight.
The Bensalem Fire Rescue is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
