Business Briefs: Bensalem Contractor Works on Merck Corporate Hangar

Bencardino excavates at Trenton-Mercer Airport.

Local excavation company was contracted by Skanska USA Building Inc. to handle work on the Merck Corporate Hangar project at the Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing.

Led by project manager Steve Borusiewicz and site foreman Lou Biskup, the Bencardino Excavating crew was hired to spearhead the expansion of the existing pharmaceutical giant’s airport hangar. The development project requires a complete site work package including clearing, asphalt removal, installation of all-site utilities, and cuts/fills through to curbs and paving.

“Working on a project with a global leader such as Merck is a pleasure. Their company standards and mission align with ours at Bencardino Excavating. We each strive to operate with the highest levels of integrity,” says Lou Bencardino, owner of Bencardino Excavating. “Skanska USA Building is another international organization that we are proud to work with on large corporate projects like this one.”
