Catholic Services Hosting Free Baby Shower In Bensalem

Catholic Social Services provides emotional support and parenting resources to help young women and mothers.

BENSALEM, PA — The Bucks County Family Service Center is hosting a free Valentine's Day baby shower for expectant mothers and families in Bensalem.

The event is set for 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, at Fatima Catholic Outreach Center, at 2915 Street Rd. in Bensalem.

Bucks County Family Service Center is a ministry of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The theme for Friday's event is "Baby Love."

Expectant mothers and families with children under one year old are invited to attend. Highlights of the shower will include refreshments, raffle prizes, Valentine's Day-themed games and more.

The family service center is the first point of contact for people, families and parishes when they're seeking help from Catholic Social Services in Bucks County. It is one of seven such centers in the five-county Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Catholic Social Services provides emotional support and parenting resources to help young women and mothers care for their families. The centers offer services such as counseling, mentoring, education assistance, adoption counseling and enrollment in benefits programs, as well as providing prenatal and parenting support groups.
