'Cease and Desist' at Congressman's Office, Trick or Treat at Parx

- An event organized by MoveOn.org and other political groups involves a 4 p.m. rally at Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick's Langhorne office on Tuesday. Spurred by the government shutdown, the event is expected to go until 5 p.m. More info here.Â
- Being an adult shouldn't keep you from trick-or-treating. From 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. guests can pick a Parx Halloween candy bar for free slot play or match play prizes.
- The Bensalem Library will offer toddler story time on Tuesday from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. for kids ages 2 to 3;Â and pre-school story time from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for kids ages 4 to 5.Â
- Tuesday is White Cane Safety Day, which was put in place on Oct. 15, 1964, via a joint resolution of Congress. The day is aimed at honoring the achievements of the blind and visually impaired.
