BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.

Fresh off its Fall Family Festival, township officials have announced their plans for the winter holiday season.

The annual Township Tree Lighting and Visit from Santa will take place at 5 p.m. on Dec. 13 at the Bensalem Township Municipal Complex, township officials said.

This year’s event will feature Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo, Bensalem Township Council, and the Parks and Recreation Department. All residents are invited.

Anyone can attend the event for free, provided they bring a non-perishable food item to be given to families in need at a later date. The food items can be dropped off at the collection station to receive a surprise appreciation gift while supplies last.
