Donations Still Accepted for Bensalem Teens' Funeral Fund
More than $5,000 has been raised by the online campaign. The VFW Post in Oakford is also holding a fundraiser this Saturday.

Memorial services for the Bensalem teenagers who drowned in the Neshaminy Creek were held last week, but donations are still open for their online funeral fund.
Brittany Amber Taylor started the fund soon after the bodies of her cousin, Perry Krewson, and his friend Dan Tadrzynski were found in the creek by the Neshaminy Falls on July 25. The pair had jumped into the rough waters two days earlier and were swept away.
As of August 7, $5,822 had been donated by 95 people, more than half of the $10,000 goal. In a message posted by Taylor, the fund will remain open for a few more days. The donations can be made electronically by credit or debit cards.
The VFW Post in the Oakford section of Bensalem has also launched a scholarship fund in memory of Krewson, who had signed up with the Marine Corps and was scheduled to ship off to boot camp the day after he disappeared.
A fundraiser for the fund will be held at the VFW Post, 4269 Linden Ave., this Saturday, Aug. 10 between 5 and 9 p.m. The cost to attend is a $10 donation, with more proceeds coming from raffles. Most of the funds will go toward the scholarship fund, with some money intended for Tadrzynski's family as well.
