BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The township will hold its annual family fall festival on Saturday.

The festival, which celebrates community pride, starts at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Bensalem Township Municipal Complex at 2400 Byberry Road.

Officials said the free, fun family event will feature activities, food trucks, a beer garden, a free concert, an evening headliner concert, and fireworks. Parking will be limited.

The free concert on the side stage features The Little Mermen - The Ultimate Disney Tribute Band

Meanwhile, the free evening concert at the Penn Community Bank Amphitheater will showcase Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and founding member of The Cars, Greg Hawkes (with Eddie Japan), performing the band's classic music.

The Cars were a powerhouse pop group that roared onto the charts in the late 1970s and became a mainstay on radio for numerous Classic Rock hits like "Just What I Needed," "My Best Friend's Girl," "Shake It Up," "Drive," and "You Might Think."

The free concert will take place at 6:30 p.m. on the Penn Community Bank Amphitheater stage.

Fireworks will then follow the show.

The event does not have vendor or sponsor spots available. Scammers may attempt to use social media pages to con patrons in posts regarding the Family Fall Festival. Officials advise anyone who witnesses or falls victim to the scam to report it immediately.
