Feasterville Bank Robber Sentenced To Prison
The man, who had a long criminal history, robbed BB&T banks in Feasterville, Philadelphia and King of Prussia.
FEASTERVILLE, PA — A Philadelphia man was sentenced to 12 years in prison Tuesday for robbing three banks, including one in Feasterville, last year.
Lamar Tindall, 45, also was sentenced to three years of supervised release and ordered to pay $2,955 in restitution by U.S. District Court Judge Joshua D. Wolson.
Tindall robbed three BB&T banks over a period of 10 days in May 2019. He robbed the Feasterville BB&T on May 17, after robbing one in Philadelphia on May 14 and before robbing one in King of Prussia on May 23.

During each robbery, Tindall handed a threatening note to a teller. During the Philadelphia robbery, the note read "all 50's and 100's or I'll shoot," according to federal prosecutors.
He stole a total of $3,650 in the three robberies. Philadelphia Police Department officers later arrested him and he confessed to the crimes.

Tindall had a long history of arrests, including convictions for drug dealing in 1999 and 2010 and a conviction for robber of property of the United States in 2002. Because of his criminal history, the court found Tindall to be a "career offender" under U.S. sentencing guidelines.
"Robbing any type of business – whether it’s a bank, a corner store, or anything in between – is a serious federal offense that can carry stiff penalties, as Tindall can now attest," said U.S. Attorney William McSwain. "And even the threat of having and using a firearm during a robbery, regardless of whether or not you actually have one, will multiply the penalty. I want people to know that committing a violent crime in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania carries a tremendous risk of a long prison sentence."
The case was investigated by the FBI, with help from the Abington Township Police Department, the Conshohocken Police Department, the Lower Southampton Township Police Department, the Philadelphia Police Department, and the Upper Merion Township Police Department.
