FEMA Resource Center Opens In Bucks County For Ida Victims; More Sites To Come
The center will be open all week, and is one of several ways to register for aid after the flooding and tornado disaster.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A Federal Emergency Management Agency resource center for Bucks County residents and businesses affected by the remnants of Hurricane Ida opened on Friday, and will remain open through Saturday.
The Disaster Recovery Center shares space with a county-run COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the former Giant grocery store at 2395 York Road in Jamison.
This week the center will operate between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays, and from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday. County officials said plans for other sites in Upper and Lower Bucks are ongoing.

The disaster recovery center is being conducted by FEMA, in partnership with county- and state-level emergency agencies. Recovery specialists from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration will be available to assist homeowners, renters, and business owners in applying for federal aid, with additional agencies and services also available.
Since the major disaster declaration issued on Sep. 10, the federal government has sent more than $1 million in aid to Bucks County residents.

Visiting a Disaster Recovery Center is not required to register for aid with FEMA.
Residents can also register by:
- Calling the FEMA Helpline at 1-800-621-3362. Multilingual operators are available. Persons who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability and use a TTY may call 1-800-462-7585. If you use 711 or VRS (Video Relay Service) or require accommodations while visiting a center, call 1-800-621-3362. The toll-free numbers are open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. EST.
- Visiting DisasterAssistance.gov, or DisasterAssistance.gov/es for Spanish.
- Downloading the FEMA mobile app (also in Spanish), wherever you access your mobile applications.
