Fire Company Mourns 70-Year Member In Bensalem
"Hank" Arment was a lifelong member of the Trevose Fire Company. A procession was held for him in Bensalem on Tuesday.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —They said: "See You Later."
That was the fitting tribute the Trevose Fire Company wanted to say to Henry Arment, a lifelong fire member who recently passed away.
On Tuesday, there was a lot of traffic around the Street Road fire station. A procession traveled to Our Lady of Grace Cemetery around noon to pay respects to Life Member Henry “Hank” Arment.

On Feb. 15, the fire company announced that Arment had died.
"Rest in Peace to the oldest rookie, Mayor of Trevose, and one of our historians," the fire company said.

Arment was a member for about 70 years.
"He loved the fire company, the Philadelphia Phillies, NASCAR, the Eagles, historic Bensalem, but mostly his family," the fire company said. Arment had lost his wife, Jennie, in October.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank the following companies for assisting us and saying our 'see you later' to Hank Arment," The Trevose Fire Company said Tuesday. "Thank you to the community for giving us patience as we may have hindered your commute."
The following fire companies were involved in the procession: Nottingham Fire Department - Station 65, Lower Southampton Fire Department, Huntingdon Valley Fire Company, Bensalem Police, Bensalem EMS, Bensalem Township Fire Rescue, Tullytown Fire Company Station 33, Penndel Volunteer Fire Company #1, Station 8, Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company, and the Middletown Fire & Emergency Services.
