Fitzpatrick Issues Memorial Day Statement

Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (R-8th) issued the following statement on Memorial Day:

“Today reminds us of the high price of freedom.  Over centuries men and women in uniform have paid the ultimate price, laying down their lives to secure our way of life.  As individuals and as a nation we owe them our deepest respect and gratitude," Fitzpatrick said.

“As we remember those who died in the service of their nation, we also pause to remember those who are defending it today.  We say a prayer that they return home safely to their family, friends and nation that they love.”
