Grammy Winner Keb' Mo' Performing In Bensalem Saturday

The five-time, Grammy award-winning blues performer will play at the Parx Casino in Bensalem.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Five-time Grammy Award winner Keb’ Mo’ will bring his talents to the Parx Casino in a performance Saturday night.

Keb’ Mo’ recently received his 12th Grammy nomination, adding to accolades for the nearly 70-year-old blues performer.

His resume includes 14 Blues Foundation Awards, an Americana Lifetime Achievement award, and multiple performances at the White House.

His recent record, "Good To Be" (Rounder Records) debuted atop multiple Billboard Charts, including at No. 1 on the Blues Album chart and No. 11 on the Heatseekers Chart.

The album received praise from NPR’s Weekend Edition, American Songwriter, Folk Alley, and Keb’ Mo’ performed the single “Good To Be (Home Again)" on The Kelly Clarkson Show and sat down with PBS Newshour for a career-spanning interview.

Deeply steeped in the blues scene since the 1970s, Keb’ Mo landed his first major gig at age 21 playing with Jefferson Airplane violinist Papa John Creach.

For the next two decades, Keb’ Mo' would work primarily as a guitarist, songwriter, and arranger with a unique gift for linking the past and present in his playing and singing.

In 1994 he released his debut album. Two years later, he earned his first Grammy award for Best Contemporary Blues Album with "Just Like You."

In the decades to come, Keb’ would take home four more Grammy awards, top the Billboard Blues Chart seven times; perform everywhere from Carnegie Hall to The White House and collaborate with many including Taj Mahal, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, The Chicks, and Lyle Lovett.

He also earned the Americana Music Association’s 2021 award for Lifetime Achievement in Performance.

A passionate philanthropist and outspoken activist, Keb’ Mo' has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of social, environmental, and racial justice throughout his career.

The East Coast dates lead to his Stagecoach debut in April.
