How To Get A Mail-In Ballot In Bucks County
The Bucks County Board of Elections urges anyone planning to vote by mail-in or absentee ballot to make their request now.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Responding to confusion after a recent mass mailing, Bucks County officials are steering residents looking to vote by mail to the county website.
The Bucks County Department of Consumer Protection recommends that voters apply online if they wish to receive mail in ballots.

To vote in the Nov. 3 election, a completed application for a mail-in ballot must be received by the county office no later than 5 p.m. on Oct. 27. The deadline to return an absentee or mail-in ballot is 8 p.m. on Nov. 3.
The mass mailing last week was from The Center for Voter Information, a nonprofit group not affiliated with the Bucks County or Pennsylvania governments. The group's goal is valid, county officials said, but its mailings caused some confusion among voters.

Officials noted that those requesting a ballot online will be asked for a PennDOT ID or driver's license number to complete their application. To check whether you have already applied for a mail-in ballot and been approved, click here.

Bucks County officials are expected to announce locations for drop boxes, for people who would like to drop off their mail-in ballots instead of sending them by the mail. Those locations and dates have not yet been announced.
You may also register to vote in Bucks County online. The deadline to register and be eligible to vote in the Nov. 3 election is Oct. 19.
