Life Member Mourned By Bensalem Fire Company
The Union Fire Company said that life member Brian Robert McKinnell died on March 28.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Union Fire Company is mourning the loss of one of its life members.
Brian Robert McKinnell, 55, of Covington, died March 28 at his home, according to his obituary.
"With sadness, we announce the passing of another Life Member Brian McKinnell, past Trustee and Assistant Chief of Union Fire Company," the fire company said in a Facebook post. "He was always a joy to be around and very knowledgeable. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers as they go through this difficult time."

He was the husband of Carol Ann McKinnell for 33 years.
to whom he was married to for thirty-three years.Mr. McKinnell was born October 12, 1968 in Bristol, PA, the son of Dorothy Lister McKinnell and the late James Hugh McKinnell.

A resident of Covington since 2005, he was employed by WestRock where he worked on #2 paper machine for 14 years.
He was also an avid hunter and a member of Warm Springs Mountain Hunting Club. Mr. McKinnell was a lifetime member of Union Fire Company in Bensalem, PA.
In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his mother and his wife, Mr. McKinnell is survived by a son, Brian Robert McKinnell, Jr. and wife, Kelly of Franklin County; two daughters, Kristen Lea McKinnell and fiancé, Josh Deaner of Covington and Breanna Lynn McKinnell and fiancé Ryan Hidalgo of Vinton; four grandchildren, Kenley Wolfe, Jaxon Hidalgo, Adley Deaner and Bennett Hidalgo; a brother, James Hugh McKinnell and wife, Lori of Florida; two sisters, Kim McKinnell of Mass and Heather Wizmerski and husband, Fred of Bensalem, a number of nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Copper.
A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home.
