Locals Earn Degrees from University of the Sciences
Cassandre Rose Cavanaugh, Shivali Dipam Patel and Jessica Ann Cherian graduated.

According to a release, the following local residents graduated from University of the Sciences during a ceremony on Wednesday, May 23 as part of the University's 191st Commencement celebration in Philadelphia.
- Cassandre Rose Cavanaugh of Croydon, PA (19021), graduated with a bachelor of science in biochemistry and pharmacology and toxicology degree . She is the daughter of the late Patrick J. Cavanaugh II (dad) and Tracey L. Cavanaugh (mom). She was VP of membership and VP of mervice of Alpha Phi Omega; a member of Kingsessing Players, American Chemical Society, Tox Club; and a teaching assistant in biochem and organic chemistry lab. Cavanaugh received the Lena Delisser-Matthews Prize.
- Shivali Dipam Patel of Croydon, PA (19021), graduated with a bachelor of science in biology degree . She is the daughter of Dipam (dad) and Ina (mom) Patel. She was pesident of the American Medical Student Association, Timmy Global Health Chapter Co-founder, Pink-A-Thon executive board member, and research assistant for Dr. James Johnson where she screened for auxotrophic mutants or staphylococcus aureus and isolating metabolic systems.
- Jessica Ann Cherian of Bensalem, PA (19020), graduated with a doctor of pharmacy degree . She is the daughter of Simon (dad) and Anna (mom) Cherian. Cherian was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society.
