Longtime Teacher Mourned In Bensalem Township
Antoinette L. Kovolisky, known as "Miss K," was a teacher for more than 40 years at St. Charles Borromeo School. She died on Sunday.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —She was known as "Miss K," a constant presence at St. Charles Borromeo School for more than 40 years.
The school announced the passing of Antoinette L. Kovolisky on its Facebook page. She died Sunday.
"It is with profound sadness that St. Charles Borromeo School Bensalem informs our students, families, and alums of the passing of Miss Antoinette Kovolisky, fondly referred to as "Miss K." Miss K. was a beloved first-grade teacher at St. Charles Borromeo School Bensalem for over 40 years. She was admired and loved by her peers, parents, and students. Miss K. could always be counted on to pray for those in need. Her strong faith in Our Lord and devotion to prayer was well-known throughout the Saint Charles Community," the school said.
Kovolisky was born on March 7, 1949, in Kearny, N.J., according to her obituary.

She dedicated her life to nurturing young minds as a teacher at St. Charles Borromeo, leaving a lasting impact on all those she taught. She will be remembered for her kindness, patience, and unwavering commitment to her students, the obituary said.
Kovolisky is survived by her siblings, John Kovolisky (Loraine), Patricia Bankert, and Joseph Kovolisky (Tina), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A second viewing will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by her Mass at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, N.J.
The school said it would "especially remember the "Parade of Saints" performance she coordinated with so many first-grade students. This is surely a fond memory for many. Be assured, "the saints are happy in heaven" to welcome Miss K."
