As part of a regionwide highway safety improvement project, crews are installing two northbound left turn lanes, removing a concrete median, upgrading signals and installing ADA ramps at the intersection with Old Lincoln Highway.

This operation is part of PennDOT’s $1,893,846 project to make various highway safety improvements at numerous locations in the five-county Philadelphia region.  The improvements include reflective pavement markers, rumble strips, skid-resistant paving, traffic signal upgrades, pavement markings and new turn lanes.  The safety improvements vary depending on the location.  The work is weather dependent.
