Parx Breaks $10M in April Table Games Revenue

According to a release from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, in Bensalem, at $10.36 million, had the highest table games revenue in April of the state’s 10 operating casinos. It was the first time a Pennsylvania gaming house topped the $10 million mark at the tables.

Parx has been increasing its table revenue each month lately with $9.98 million in March, $8.20 million in February and $7.63 million in January.

In other regional casinos, table games produced $7.93 million revenue at Harrah's Chester Casino; and $6.22 million at the SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia in April.

Table games statewide produced $52.89 million in gross revenue in April generating $8.47 million in tax revenue.

Pennsylvania has a 16 percent tax rate on gross table game revenue with 14 percent going to the Commonwealth’s General Fund and 2 percent to the local host county and municipality.

The 162 table games at Parx generated $1,454,113 in taxes for the state and $207,200 in taxes for Bensalem and Bucks County.
