Parx Helps Make Philadelphia Market Tops in Racinos

Parx in Bensalem and Harrah's in Chester posted revenues in excess of $759 million in 2010.

Philadelphia was named the country’s best market for racinos (racetrack casinos) in the recent State of the States report issued by the American Gaming Association.

According to a story on ThoroughbredTimes.com, in Bensalem and Harrah’s in Chester earned $759.11 million, which put the Philadelphia market ahead of Yonkers, New York, $582.23 million, for the first time.

The report, which is attached, also listed Philadelphia as the seventh largest U.S. casino market overall.
