Parx Tables Earn Almost $9M in June; $117M for FY

Statewide, casino tables earned $57.1M in June and $663.9M for the fiscal year.

 

Table games at had revenue of $8.85 million in June and finished the 2011-12 fiscal year at $117 million. The Bensalem gaming house consistently finishes second in the state to Sands Casino in Bethlehem, which earned $12.67 million in June and $128 million for fiscal year.

According to a release from the Pa. Gaming Control Board, revenue from table games at the state’s 11 casinos was $57.1 million in June and $663.9 million for the fiscal year.

The state taxes gross revenue from table games at 16 percent. Of that amount, 14 percent goes the to the Commonwealth’s General Fund and 2 percent to the Local Share Assessment.

Statewide, the tables generated $9.2 million in tax revenue in June and $107 million for the fiscal year. Total combined revenue from casino gaming (slots and tables) was $3.14 billion for $1.45 in taxes.

The Board also provided a gross table game revenue comparison for each casino for the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 Fiscal Years along with total gaming revenues for all Fiscal Years since casino gaming began in November 2006. Pennsylvania casinos operated just slot machines until July 2010 when table games were added.
