Pennsylvania’s Table Game Revenue Hits High Mark
Parx Casino tops state with nearly $10 million from tables.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Monday announced that March’s table game revenue at state casinos was the highest since tables were introduced last July.
in Bensalem again had the highest table game revenue of the state’s 10 casinos.
"We continue to see greater play of table games as casinos enhance their customer base and refine the mix of games that patrons seek," says PGCB Executive Director Kevin O’Toole. "Certainly as we move into the warmer months where patron visits increase, it would be likely that we will see a continued upward trend of these revenue numbers."

Statewide, table games produced $54,606,617 gross revenue in March compared to the previous high month of December 2010 when gross revenue totaled $44,080,346.
Parx table revenue for March was $9,975,829 compared to the next highest totals at Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, $8,537,395; Harrah’s Chester Casino, $7,426,257; and Philadelphia’s Sugarhouse Casino, $6,432,608.

Parx also beat its previous high revenue of $8,204,00, which it attained in February.
Statewide table game revenue resulted in $8,737,059 in tax revenue. Pennsylvania has a 16 percent tax rate table games with 14 percent going to the state and 2 percent to the local host county and municipality.
Table game revenue at Parx Casino yielded $1,396,616 for the state and $199,517 for Bensalem and Bucks County.
