Police Report Attempted Abduction
A man in a maroon car attempted to abduct a 17-year-old girl.

Bensalem police are asking for help in identifying a man who attempted to grab a 17-year-old female and pull her into his car.
On August 13 at approximately 5:15 p.m., the victim was walking in the area of Kingston Way and Berkeley Road in the Nottingham section when a maroon vehicle, operated by a white male, pulled up to her and asked for directions.Â

As the victim was explaining the directions, the suspect reached out of his drivers side window grabbed the victim by her left arm and pulled her toward his vehicle. The victim was able to escape his grasp and ran away. The suspect vehicle was last seen fleeing the Nottingham area.   Â
The vehicle is described as maroon in color, unknown make or model, with two doors, with possibly tinted side and rear windows. The victim believes the registration plate had possible letters "SML" in the sequence.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-to-late 40s with brown receding hair. He had a brown/gray mustache and sideburns that went to the bottom of his ear. He also had a small, yellow gold hoop earring in his left ear. The subject was wearing a blue tee shirt and other pieces of clothing were observed in the rear passenger seat of the car. Â
