Police Search for Men Who Tried to Rob Gas Station

are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred on Friday, Aug. 10 at 8:35 p.m. at the Classic Car Wash/gas station, located at 2629 Lincoln Highway.

The suspects, both armed with handguns, approached the employee in the booth from behind and attempted to rob him. A physical confrontation ensued and the employee managed to escape. 

The actors then fled to a neighboring apartment complex. Moments later a taxi cab is seen leaving the area which may have transported the suspects.

The suspects are described as being approximately 5’6’’ to 5’9’’ dark skinned black males with beards. They are depicted in the attached surveillance video.

Police are asking anyone who may recognize the actors in the surveillance video or any cab company that may have had a trip logged on the above date and time to contact Bensalem police at 215-633-3719.
