Repeat Retail Theft Offender Faces Felony Charge
A man with more than five retail theft convictions was charged with a felony for allegedly stealing batteries.

A New Jersey man with "more than five" retail theft convictions on his record is facing a felony charge for allegedly stealing lithium batteries.Â
Shreeve Barton, 47, of Sander Lane in Princeton, N.J., was arrested on Sunday and charged with a third-degree felony for his alleged theft of $435.99 worth of lithium batteries from Home Depot in Bensalem, according to court documents.
Barton is free after posting 10 percent of $20,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next week.Â
