Route 1 Improvements Project Construction Resumes This Week

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Milling and paving is planned overnight this week on Rockhill Drive in the township.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that milling and paving operations are scheduled this week on Rockhill Drive under a $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bucks County.

- Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Rockhill Drive between Old Lincoln Highway and Neshaminy Boulevard in Bensalem Township.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
