Route 1 Roadwork Planned Overnight In Lower Bucks Co.
PennDOT plans traffic signal replacement on Rockhill Drive in Bensalem this week as part of its Route 1 Traffic Improvements Project.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Traffic signal replacement will take place overnight this week on Rockhill Drive, PennDOT said.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the work falls under PennDOT’s $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bucks County.

- Monday, April 28, through Friday, May 2, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., intermittent lane closures with flaggers will be in place in both directions on Rockhill Drive between Overlook Boulevard and Neshaminy Boulevard.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

The work is part of PennDOT’s U.S. 1/RC2 contract that will reconstruct and widen U.S. 1 from south of the Rockhill Drive Interchange to north of the Penndel/Business U.S. 1 Interchange.
