Students Walk for Juvenile Diabetes
Belmont Hills Elementary School students and teachers walked as a fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

The students and teachers of Belmont Hills Elementary School earned close to $4,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation during a recent walk.
Kids and faculty walked around their Bensalem neighborhood on Oct. 22 in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and finding a cure for the disease which affects more than 3 million Americans.Â
Belmont Hills partnered with Korman Residential Properties and the JDRF, and successfully raised $3,759 in just two weeks. They kicked off their efforts with an assembly held by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to teach children about nutrition and Type I diabetes.Â
