Paint & Sip Fundraiser

Ayiti Siloe presents a day of painting, shopping, music and Haiti’s favorite dishes while supporting Haiti. Hosted by shazaam_, sounds by DJSammyboi, painting instruction by Chet Highsmith. Sunflower Festival
Location: Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Rd.
Time: Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Shady Brook Farm invites you to pick your own stunning sunflowers. Take a stroll through their beautiful fields for the perfect photo-ops, and enjoy fun including wagon rides, the BEARS playground, barnyard animals, the animated chicken show, an SBF 500 pedal go-cart, and gem mining (with an extra fee). New Hope
New Hope Automobile Show
Time: Saturday & Sunday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Location: New Hope-Solebury High School, 180 West Bridge Street
The New Hope Automobile Show features the finest in classic and antique, foreign and domestic vehicles. The days are split by classes, with more info at the link. It is recommended that show participants register early. All vehicles must register in advance. Gates open to the public at 9:00 am with the show running until 4:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased at the gate: $10.00 general admission; Active Duty Military personnel and their dependents attend for free (must show ID). Children age 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. On-site parking is $5.00. Proceeds provide funds for local New Hope-Solebury community projects and charitable organizations throughout the region. Murder Mystery Walking Tours: Murder in the Jazz Age
Time: Friday at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Sunday at 3 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m.
Location: Peddler's Village, Street Rd. & Route 263
If you yearn to step back in time to when guys and dolls danced the night away in hidden speakeasies, then join a walking tour with a murderous twist! Enter a world of gangsters, flappers and fellas, jazz bands and gin joints. Stroll the byways and shadowy corners of Peddlers Village, led by your guide – who just happens to be the victim of a 100-year-old murder! You will be tasked with inspecting the crime scene, gathering the clues, and questioning the suspects you meet along the way. And perhaps, just perhaps, you can stay one step ahead of a wily murderer, avoid a similar fate, and have a chance to solve a – MURDER IN THE JAZZ AGE! Murder Mystery Outdoor Theatre: Murder at the Moulin
Location: Peddler's Village, Street Rd. & Route 263
Time: Saturday, 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Under the new open-air event tent, enjoy a production presented by Without A Cue Productions! Step back in time to 19th-century France as Parisian characters, including mimes, painters, can-can dancers, and the conniving owners of Moulin Bleu put on a show to remember. This event is geared towards adults ages 18+. Dine before the show at Peddler's Village restaurants (reservations strongly recommended), or order take-out to enjoy during the event. A cash bar will be available to purchase seasonal beverages. Tickets are for a table seating of up to two guests. Please arrive 30 minutes prior for check-in. Find tickets at the link.

Forever Young - Night Party!
Time: Saturday, 8 p.m.-1 a.m.
Location: Escape Resort, 120 Pheasant Run Rd.
Escape Resort invites anyone 21 and over to enjoy some throwbacks and feel like a kid again. Grab some neon and enjoy an ‘80s inspired pool party with a dj, poolside dance floor, water slides, backyard games, and mega floats. Guests must pay $15.
Run with Ox
Time: Saturday, 10 a.m.
Location: 27 Duval Ct.
Enjoy a community run with Danielle Oxley, making a 2.5 mile loop through Newtown. The first 20 people to sign up will get a “Run with Ox” t-shirt! Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
CR North Marching Band Car Wash
Time: Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Location: Council Rock High School North, 62 Swamp Rd.
Support the Council Rock High School North Marching Band and enjoy snacks and sweets while your car is washed.
Levittown
Free Comic Book Day … errr, Week!
Time: Saturday, Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. through Aug. 21 at 7 p.m.
Location: Wade’s Comic Madness, 8750 New Falls Rd.
Due to the pandemic, we are changing up our traditional FCBD event to ensure the safety of our patrons and staff. For Saturday, Aug. 14 we will be limiting occupancy as well as requiring masks and proof of vaccination to enter the shop. If you're unable to meet those requirements, you can still receive your FCBD pack outside. To cut down on customer traffic, they are urging everyone to skip the line. Reserve freebies ahead of time here. Come in Aug. 15 - Aug. 21 and your bag will be there waiting for you. They’ll also be announcing ways to donate to a fundraiser to benefit Bucks For Kids.

Time: Saturday, 4 p.m.

Sesame Place Summer Fireworks Show
Location: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Rd., Langhorne
Time: Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 p.m.
For the first time ever, Sesame Place will be lighting up the sky with dazzling fireworks every Saturday and Sunday night this summer! Don't miss this magical light show hosted by Abby Cadabby, Elmo, Cookie Monster and Count von Count as Sesame Street music fills the air and the sky is filled with colorful bursts of brilliance. The Summer Fireworks Show takes place every Saturday and Sunday night at 8:30pm, July 17th - September 4th.
