TMA Bucks Golf Outing Raises $7,200 for Scholarship Fund

Golf outing was held at the Bensalem Country Club.

TMA Bucks (Transportation Management Association) announced Monday that $7,200 was raised for the TMA Bucks Scholarship Fund at the organization’s Fourth Annual Golf Outing on Friday, April 27 at Bensalem Township Country Club, according to a release.

“Thanks to the generosity of our loyal members, the golf outing was once again a tremendous success,” said TMA Bucks executive director Bill Rickett. “Special thanks and appreciation to our golf outing participants, sponsors and volunteers.”

Bucks County high school seniors planning to pursue a course of post high school study in civil engineering, urban planning, transportation management or other related field can apply for scholarships from the TMA Bucks Scholarship Fund and have until Friday, May 6 to submit their applications.

Applications for the TMA Bucks Scholarship Fund are available at all Bucks County high school guidance offices and at tmabucks.com.

Applications are to be returned by mail or in person to the office of TMA Bucks, Seven Neshaminy Interplex, Suite 103, Trevose, PA 19053, by the close of business, 4 p.m., on Friday, May 6. Award announcements will be made in early June at the TMA’s annual meeting.

These scholarships are one-time awards to be paid directly to the college or other accredited secondary school the winning students will attend beginning in the Fall of 2011.

The TMA Bucks Scholarship Fund is a registered 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Donations to the fund may be sent in care of TMA Bucks Scholarship Fund, Seven Neshaminy Interplex, Suite 103, Trevose, PA 19053.
