State Police Report Recent I-95 Incidents

They included hit-and-run accidents, drunk driver and false ID.

Between April 15 and April 23, responded to the following incidents:

On April 15 at 12:18 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Michael T. Hargrett II, 28, of Trevose, on I-95 northbound at milepost 39 for a suspended registration. Hargrett provided false identification to police. Criminal charges are pending. Trooper Brandon Horlacher investigated the incident.

On April 19 at 3:30 p.m., state police responded to a hit-and-run accident on I-95 southbound at the Scudder Falls Bridge. Police said a vehicle left its lane striking another vehicle on its passenger side and left the scene. The right lane was closed for 45 minutes. No injuries reported. Trooper Thomas Geerlof investigated the incident.

On April 20 at 6:28 p.m., state police responded to a hit-and-run accident on I-95 southbound at milepost 44. Police said a vehicle struck another while changing lanes and fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call the Trevose station at (215) 942-3900 and reference M03-1342655. Trooper Denny Varghese investigated the incident.

On April 23 at 2:30 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Michael Clayton, 39, of Philadelphia, on I-95 northbound at milepost 35 for a traffic violation. Clayton was found to be intoxicated, arrested for DUI, given a blood test, processed and released. Charges are pending. Trooper Steven Moyer investigated the incident.
