Unconscious Person Pulled From Fire At Bucks Meadows Apartments
Bensalem Police and Fire Rescue described heavy smoke and flames in the apartment's kitchen on Wednesday evening.
BENSALEM, PA — Crews rescued an unconscious person from an apartment fire in Bensalem Wednesday evening.
Just after 5 p.m., fire rescue was dispatched to the Bucks Meadows Apartments on Knights Road for a report of a fire. Upon arrival, crews saw that it was a working fire and established a water supply and line to the building.
Once inside, firefighters found heavy smoke and fire in the apartment's kitchen.

"The fire was quickly extinguished and the incident was placed under control," Bensalem Fire Rescue wrote online.
That's when Bensalem Police pulled an unconscious person from the apartment, who was taken to the hospital by Bensalem Emergency Medical Services.

The fire was caused by "careless cooking," according to fire rescue. No other injuries were reported.
