Veterans' Day Event Planned At Cecelia Snyder Middle School
The Student Council will provide a breakfast for invited veterans, followed by an assembly and a question and answer session with veterans.

BENSALEM, PA — Cecelia Snyder Middle School will be hosting a Veterans' Day event on Wednesday, Nov. 10, which will see students honor and engage with veterans in a series of planned activities.
The school's Student Council will be providing a breakfast for invited veterans, with each veteran being accompanied by 1 to 2 students during the breakfast. This part of the event will be held in the school's library at 8:30 a.m.
This will be followed by an assembly that will see the Bensalem High School's Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (MCJROTC) present colors, as well as opening remarks from Snyder staff and Bensalem High School Head Marine Instructor Col. John Church, USMCR. The keynote speaker, LTC Jonathan (Jon) Pfender, will be introduced by District Superintendent, Dr. Samuel Lee.

Students that attend the assembly will be taken back to the library to ask question to veterans, an opportunity to engage with them and understand what they do on a deeper level.
The event will take place at the middle school, located on 3330 Hulmeville Road in Bensalem.
