Why go: Hundreds of people will jump in to the frigid Delaware River to benefit the Special Olympics. Come chill out – literally!

Why go: Folks can sing a song, tell jokes, recite poetry, play music or whatever else strikes their fancy. The only caveat – all material must be rated “E” for everyone.

Why go: Kids from K-5 will read to therapy dog volunteers - they love it! And it’s a great confidence builder for reluctant readers.

Why go: Fill a bag with train goodies for $25 (cash only, please) and all proceeds will benefit the Boy Scouts.
