Young Bensalem Actor Goes ‘Under the Sea’ in “The Little Mermaid"

Zachary Huot performs on the Walnut Mainstage in the ensemble of Disney’s The Little Mermaid playing now through January 2, 2022.

Based on the beloved Hans Christian Andersen story and the classic film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is the hauntingly beautiful story of Ariel, who dreams of finding her own way in the world above the sea. Featuring unforgettable songs such as "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World," Disney’s The Little Mermaid promises to be one of the most spectacular productions ever staged at the Walnut!

Zachary Huot is a seventh grader at Nazareth Academy Grade School who studies at the Ginny Lee Dance Studio and The Drama Club in addition to participating in the Pennsylvania Youth Chorale. He has participated in theatre since the first grade and works to raise money for organizations such as the Immune Deficiency Foundation and Double H Ranch.

Huot collaborated with the organization Hear Your Song to create an original mini-musical The Adventure of Zippy Jr. which featured Broadway Actors from The Lion King and Dear Evan Hansen.

Audiences can see Zachary Huot and the cast of Disney’s The Little Mermaid this holiday season, as they show audiences why “life is the bubbles under the sea!”
