Police Seek Victims of Alleged Child Molester
A South Bethlehem man charged with sexually assaulting a 4-year-old child in a backyard might have other victims, the Bethlehem Police Department said Tuesday. The department, in a blog post, put out a call for parents of victims to step forward “so that the proper services can be made available to you and your child.”

Martin Tower Smoke Scare a Mystery
Bethlehem firefighters combed through all 21 floors of Martin Tower on Friday morning, but could find no evidence of what caused smoke to briefly pour from the penthouse and roof of the building the night before, Fire Chief George Barkanic said. Two alarms were rung in the Thursday night incident and multiple fire trucks surrounded the Lehigh Valley’s tallest building for a couple of hours while firefighters tried to discern the smoke’s origin.

Avenged Sevenfold will bring Musikfest 2013 to a thunderous close, as ArtsQuest announced Wednesday that the chart-topping heavy metal band will be the final festival main stage act on Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. ArtsQuest has announced eight of the ten Sands Steel Stage acts for Musikfest 2013. All that remains to be announced are the shows for Tuesday, Aug. 6 and Thursday, Aug. 8.
