Bethlehem woman arrested after DUI, aggressive driving crash seriously injures motorist (wfmz.com) — A Bethlehem woman has been charged after authorities say her alleged impaired and aggressive driving in September led to a serious multi-vehicle crash in Lehigh Township. Investigators used dashcam footage and blood tests to support multiple DUI and aggravated assault by vehicle charges. She was arraigned Friday with bail set at $50,000. 
2. Palmer Township woman charged in financial exploitation of three elderly victims (wfmz.com) — Bethlehem Township police say a home care aide is accused of stealing checks, cash, credit card funds, and jewelry from three elderly clients in Northampton County, including a 90-year-old resident on Hope Ridge Drive. Investigators traced the missing jewelry to a Nazareth pawn shop, and prosecutors have filed multiple theft and fraud charges, with the suspect jailed on $100,000 bail.
3. Lehigh Valley boys baskeball: Dandy Dozen rankings feature 7 unbeatens and a new No. 1 (mcall.com) — Lehigh Valley boys basketball teams are jockeying for position before the holiday break, with seven unbeatens and a new No. 1 in The Morning Call’s Dandy Dozen. Bethlehem fans will notice Liberty’s standout Jake Pukszyn honored for 1,000 career points at Liberty High School, and Notre Dame-Green Pond’s strong start highlighted in a game played in Bethlehem Township.
4. Bethlehem man sentenced in AI-generated child porn case; 1st in state convicted under statute (wfmz.com) — A Bethlehem man has been sentenced to up to 10 years in prison for using AI tools to turn a coworker’s children’s vacation photos into illegal sexual images, becoming the first person sentenced under Pennsylvania’s new AI child-protection statute. Prosecutors and the Lehigh County district attorney say the case shows how quickly technology is outpacing the law and are calling for additional safeguards.

Waffles (M, black) and Pancake (F, silver tabby) were found with their mother roaming the streets of Bethlehem early in May. Thankfully, my friend… (Nextdoor Catasauqua - Schoenersville) - Did anyone else feel that rumble and hear that noise about 7:06 am today?
