Bethlehem City Council Accepting Resumes for Controller Vacancy

A new City Controller will be appointed at the Feb. 17 City Council meeting.

The Bethlehem City Council announced it has begun accepting letters of interest and resumes to fill the vacant position of City Controller, according to the City of Bethlehem.

Any person interested in the position of City Controller of the City of Bethlehem should submit a resume and letter of interest to the City Clerk’s Office by noon on Friday, Feb. 13, the city said. The City Council will be appointing a new city controller at the Feb. 17 council meeting.

The appointed city controller will serve until an elected controller assumes office in January 2016.

The Bethlehem City Council was charged with filling the vacant position after the passing of Controller David DiGiacinto, the city said.
