After finding the lock was improperly installed, Officer Hobson bought and installed a new one himself, an act the department says reflects its commitment to compassionate, community-focused policing.

Police seek help finding missing 73-year-old Lehigh Valley man (mcall.com) — Authorities are asking Bethlehem-area residents to help locate 73-year-old Randy Hilbert, last seen Friday night driving a 2016 Jeep Cherokee near Polk Valley Road in Lower Saucon Township. Pennsylvania magistrate faces disciplinary action for reported ‘Book of Grudges' (abc27.com) — A magisterial district judge serving the Bethlehem area is facing disciplinary charges over what officials describe as a “Book of Grudges,” explicit office materials, and repeated courtroom and attendance issues. The Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board says Judge Amy L. Zanelli’s alleged conduct, including remote hearings without authorization, could lead to censure, suspension, fines, or even removal if proven.
   

4. Notre Dame boys basketball doesn't wilt, beats Wilson to stay unbeaten in league play (lehighvalleylive.com) — Notre Dame-Green Pond’s boys basketball team stayed unbeaten in Colonial League play with a gritty 68-60 home win over Wilson, fueled by a huge second half from several Crusaders. Players said they were driven partly by last season’s lopsided loss to Wilson in Bethlehem Township, turning that memory into motivation as the league playoff race tightens.
